Acupoint Medicated Plaster

It is a non-invasive and painless treatment based on the theory of meridians. Medicated plaster is applied to specific acupoints and stricken locations. The plaster usually contains paste of medicinals with liquids such as water, vinegar, alcohol, egg white, honey, vegetable oil, or simply medicinal powder. Treatment is usually given to patients in the three hottest ten-day periods of the hot season or mid-winter.
