The Suzhou Museum is launching the major spring exhibition "Suzhou Textile Commissioner" on Mar 24.
The event focuses on redefining the historical role of the Suzhou Textile Commissioner, showcasing how Jiangnan's exquisite craftsmanship in silk, lacquerware, and jade profoundly influenced the royal life of the Forbidden City.
It features over 90 precious artifacts from 10 prestigious museums, highlighted by the epic scroll Along the River During the Qingming Festival (Qiu Ying version), which vividly depicts the prosperous city life of the Ming Dynasty.
