30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations of China and Belarus
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Belarus, more than 100 Chinese and Belarusian youth representatives gathered on January 20, sharing stories, looking back to precious friendly relationship, and looking forward to the future.
Youth Friendship Story Meeting to Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Belarus was held in Beijing. More than 100 youth organizations, young entrepreneurs, college students and other representatives from all walks of life from China and Belarus participated in the event online and offline simultaneously.
Wang Hongyan, chairman of the All-China Youth Federation, pointed out that over the past 30 years, the youth of China and Belarus have left their youth imprints in the process of the development of the two countries, adding new connotation of era into the long-standing friendship of China and Belarus.
She encouraged the youngsters of two countries to take over the baton of friendly cooperation and strive to become good brothers and sisters with sincerity, good partners for mutual benefit, good friends with frequent contacts, and continue to create a bright future of common prosperity for China and Belarus and contribute the power of youth for the community with a shared future.
Belarusian Ambassador to China Yuri Senko said, today is a special day for Belarus-China relations. It is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
“I can confidently tell you that the history of friendship between us is a model. We have many achievements and some are extraordinary in various aspects. Our level of cooperation upgraded from key issues to a comprehensive strategic partnership with mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation,” Senko said.
“We cherish our special relationship with China and we consider China as a strategic partner that plays an extremely important role in maintaining stability and security in Eurasia and the world,” he added.
Some vivid stories by the speakers during the meeting attracted bursts of laughter and applause.
