Zheng Xiaohua: Chinese Calligraphy Appeals not Only to East Asian Audiences

Although it is widely believed that Chinese calligraphy is an art closely related to Chinese characters and it has little to do with the art of other countries or other arts, yet Professor Zheng Xiaohua disagrees. From his years of exchanges with worldwide artists, he believes that Chinese calligraphy also contains the characteristics of other arts, such as architecture. And it really should not only be known and studied by artists only in East Asia, but also be introduced to artists all over the world.
