Ballet Flamenco de Granada de España Carmen

Carmen is a timeless classic opera composed by the composer Georges Bizet, based on a novel by Prosper Mérimée, a French literary giant. Over the past two centuries since its premiere, more than 150 different versions of the opera have been staged worldwide, making it a veritable theatrical masterpiece. Among all these interpretations, the rendition of Carmen in the form of flamenco, a style of dance which originated in Andalusia, Spain, is regarded as the most authentic and classic one that is closest to its soul.

“Spanish Dance Prince” Javier Martos will share the stage with Marta, who portrays Carmen. Two international award-winning artists will vividly portray José’s inner turmoil and Carmen’s wild nature in their highly impressive theatrical performances, to present a feast on the stage at which technology collides with the soul to capacity.
