Summer Lotus in Full Bloom at Honghu Park

Summer has officially arrived, and so has Shenzhen's "old friend"—the spectacular lotus blossoms at Honghu Park! Located in Luohu District, this urban oasis is now covered in hundreds of acres of vibrant green leaves and blooming pink and white lotuses, offering a perfect natural escape from the city heat.

Entering from the East Gate, visitors can stroll along the zigzag bridges connecting Lianxiang Lake and Jingyi Lake for an immersive, up-close viewing experience. For the best panoramic shots, head to the second floor of the Furong, Liuxia, or Chenxi pavilions. Beyond the lotuses, the lake is also adorned with colorful water lilies reminiscent of Monet's masterpiece, while elegant egrets and herons soar and rest among the leaves, painting a vivid ecological picture.
