36th Qingdao International Beer Festival - 2026 Summer Celebration

The 36th Qingdao International Beer Festival kicked off in grand style on Friday evening in Qingdao West Coast New Area, Shandong province, launching a month-long citywide celebration of beer, culture and entertainment. Running through August 15, this year's festival features three major venues — West Coast New Area, Laoshan, and Qingdao Old Town — adopting a coordinated citywide approach.

 At the Golden Beach Beer City, nine beer tents offer over 2,300 varieties of beer from around the world, from premium craft brews to speciality fruit-flavoured options. With more than 2,000 events planned — including tastings, cultural performances, and international trade exchanges — the festival aims to boost consumption and enhance Qingdao's international appeal through beer culture.
