Shanghai Ballet Swan Lake

Shanghai Ballet will present Tchaikovsky’s world-famous classic ballet Swan Lake -- a timeless masterpiece cherished globally. Choreographed by Derek Deane with sets and costumes by Peter Farmer, it tells the poignant story of Princess Odette, cursed to be a swan by the evil sorcerer Rothbart, and her undying love with Prince Siegfried, whose devotion ultimately defeats darkness.

Founded in 1979, Shanghai Ballet is celebrated for its elegant, exquisite style. It has staged numerous world classics and original works, touring nearly 100 cities worldwide and earning high praise from international audiences.
