Dialogue & Reproducing & Inheritance: A Documentary Exhibition of the Collaborative Research on Tangyang Model

Presented by the Prince Kung Mansion Museum, this exhibition is an extension of the 2025 show From Model to Masterpiece: Tracing the Legacy of Ironed Paper Models held at the same venue.

It displays the research and reproduction process of traditional Chinese architectural models by faculty and students from the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University and the School of Architecture, Technische Universität Berlin.

From a cross-cultural perspective, the exhibition shows the educational value of the architectural ideas and techniques behind these models for modern people, and reflects the inheritance and innovative development of traditional Chinese architectural culture today.

It is also a practice of the museum’s curatorial concept “My Space, My Curate”, co-curated by student representatives from the two universities and young curators of the Prince Kung Mansion Museum.
