Golden Acrobatics Celebrate the Spring Festival & Reaching New Heights of Skill: 75th Anniversary Gala Performance of the China National Acrobatic Troupe
This gala features award-winning acts of the China National Acrobatic Troupe that have claimed top prizes at major competitions worldwide.
Among them is Group Diabolo, a highlight of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Created in 2004 and passed down for 20 years, it has dominated international and domestic competitions with an impressive seven gold medals, becoming a legendary classic in global acrobatics. It won the Golden Clown Award at the 37th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival of Monaco and the Gold Award at the 12th Budapest Festival of Arts in Hungary.
Wind Chasers - Men’s Group Cycling, another Spring Festival Gala highlight, was also invited to perform at the 2024 Beijing Cultural Forum Gala. Through integrated innovation, the act has elevated traditional cycling acrobatics, showing the endless spirit of creativity in Chinese acrobatics. It has received the Programme Award at the 11th China Acrobatic Golden Chrysanthemum Awards National Competition, the Golden Tiger Award at the 7th China International Circus Festival, and the Gold Award at the 15th Budapest International Circus Festival in Hungary.
The China National Acrobatic Troupe has excelled repeatedly at the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival of Monaco, becoming the first Chinese troupe to win the Golden Clown Award three times. Its prize-winning acts Bowl Balancing and Hoop Diving will also appear in this show.
