Acupoints are special points for the circulation of qi and blood and correspond to the internal organs, and are located along special meridians of the human body. They are mostly located in places with more nerve endings and blood vessels. They are not isolated points on the surface of the human body, but special points that are closely connected to the tissues and organs. They are not only reaction points of certain physiological problems, but are also stimulation points for treatment. TCM doctors can use acupuncture or massage, pressing, and moxibustion to stimulate the corresponding acupoints to treat these problems.

Meridians are the conduits that help circulate qi and blood and connect the internal organs with the body surface, various parts of the body, and they are considered as the regulation system of body functions.
