Gilded Bronze Ornament with Figurines of Four Dancers
The four figurines in the picture, wearing identical costumes and hairdressers, represent dancers of an ethnic minority in southwest China.
Since ancient times, ethnic minorities in that part of China have been known for singing and dancing, usually accompanied by the sheng (reed pipe) and drums.
It’s vivid and impressive, seemingly delivering happiness through this picture to us. Do you feel the same emotions as they did?
