People have always been curious about the sky above them since ancient times.


This astronomical instrument was once named the “demonstrational celestial globe” and was used to visually understand the relative positions and laws of motion of the sun, the moon and stars. 


This celestial instrument at the Ancient Observatory in Beijing is the oldest surviving one in China.
