What are they doing in such a weired gesture?! Are they acrobats? Actually, this a a mural depicting two auspicious human figures. The relations between them two can be seen in two ways: one showing that one stands upside down and the other stands upright while the other showing that one carries the other, prostrating himself on the ground and crawling. This compositional method was generally adopted in decorative designs in the mTho-lding Monastery, the Guge Palace, the Dung-dkar Monastery, etc. The use of the cross stomach band is interesting, which creates a marvelous decorative effect by taking the advantage of collimation error.
